DrawChal: the list

DrawChal challenges you to learn the anatomy of one creature/animal per day through sketching and drawing. The focus is on rough sketches, but if you learn in a different way, then go for it! 🙂 Spend as much or little time as you’d like, it’s all for you. You pick any of the creatures mentioned below, it doesn’t have to be in order. Just cross it off as you’ve done it, and pat yourself on the back. Once this list is final, I will mash together an official leaflet for printing or copying. But for now, here’s what I’ve got:

I would love to see your sketches! If you decide to try my challenge, please post links to your images in the comments below, or add #DrawChal to your tweet/post/etc… If you want your rough sketches posted on my blog and credited, send it to my email (me@evybenita.com) with your artist name and website link/similar.I would love suggestions for what to put on the list. If you think something on the list is unnecessary, I want to hear about that too!

I will be posting my reference material on the blog each day.

Note: I’m guessing there are many drawing challenges out there which take on creature drawing, but I wanted to create one myself. I can’t guarantee that this one will be better for everyone, but it is very good for the way I work, and might potentially be good for someone else too 🙂
