Following up my previous post, I have come to the conclusion that it’s time to get going! I need to do something, and to get the day started, I need something structured to structure me. I enjoy animating and drawing up characters. A wider understanding of animal and creature anatomy will help me in this field, so what I have decided to do is:
Learn the basics of one creature’s anatomy per day.
That’s it! It doesn’t need to be more complicated than that, just a simple thing to do each morning to get those creative muscles fired up. This challenge will go on for 52 days, starting yesterday. I began sketching Alaskan Malamutes, feeling inspired after visiting my sister and her dogs.
I named this DrawChal, because I needed a hashtag that wouldn’t take up too many symbols in a tweet. Might as well just name it the same thing. The previous post will show a list in progress of the animals I can choose from each day. I’m adding to it as I go along.
